More Fun at the Park

So, we have lived at our current apartment for two years and we just recently found the cutest park that is really quite close to us, well it is about a 20 minute walk each way, and now we are moving, I wish we would have known this sooner haha. I have been wanting a park in walking distance that I could take Lana to often. Lana loves being outside so we go for walks a lot! Here are some cute pictures of Lana having fun at the park. Here is a picture of the play ground at the Park, it is a very nice park.

Riding on a dinosaur. I put her on and she held on and started moving back and forth right away, I don't know how she knew what to do, but she liked it!
This slide was not very steep so I thought Lana could go down it on her own. She would sit down at the top, and then try to crawl forward instead of slide down, silly girl!

I had to add this one. She isn't very happy here, but her hair is finally getting long enough for little pony tails and bows, I love it!!

Busy Busy

Thought I would post a few recent pictures of Lana. We have been very busy these last few weeks with traveling to Colorado for two weddings, then last week we had VBS at our church six evenings. Josh has been busy getting ready to take the Youth to camp in North Carolina in a couple weeks, and so we have a lot more traveling, as well as moving coming up in the next month, so it will be crazy. Lana is growing fast and she is a very very busy girl as most you know. She is 16 months old now. She is saying more and more words everyday, and I love it. She can tell me when she wants her Milk, and quite a few other things. She is also starting to make up her own words, which I love as well, banana is "nanna" so cute!!

I love sleeping pictures and the odd positions they end up in. This one I thought was odd, she often sleeps with her little bottom up in the air, but this time her feet are crossed underneath her, doesn't look too comfortable.
Happy happy girl, she pretty much runs everywhere she goes now :)

Fun in Colorado

My Sister Juli's Wedding 6-7-08

As most of you know we are back in our home state of Colorado for a while. We traveled back for my sisters wedding, as well as one of Josh's best friends weddings which are only a week apart. We are so glad that we were able to come out to Colorado for 10 days and be here for this very special time. My little sister got married on Saturday. I will always call her my "little" sister even though she is 24 now. :) It was a very nice wedding at the church we grew up in, in Greeley. Everything went very well, and almost according to plan. Our Pastor reminded us the night before that weddings are more about making memories than impressing people, which was an especially good point to make when their were five very young kids in the wedding!!

Here is Jaiden being silly, she had SO much fun dancing at the wedding. Her favorite thing was to have someone spin her around, she completely wore me out doing this :)

This is my little niece Kirsten. She is 10 months old and just learning to stand on her own, doing very well!! The three youngest girls, Jaiden 2 1/2, Lana 15 months, and Kirsten 10 months, were all flower girls!!!Here is Lana Gracie at the wedding, dancing on the dance floor. Between having an ear infection, teething, and major sleep deprivation, Lana was a little grumpy at the wedding. She has 12 teeth right now, and has 4 coming in and these last four have been a little rough. That is ok though, she survived! :)This is my cousins little boy Preston and Lana. Preston is one month older than Lana, he is trying to give her a kiss, and as you can see, she doesn't really want one :) So cute!Josh and I at the wedding, Josh was a Groomsmen!This is my niece Kaylee, she is 7. Kaylee was a Junior Bridesmaid and she really liked that. She did very well at the wedding, she stood very still during the whole ceremony!!

The Things They Pick Up On.....

Today Lana and I were playing in the living room. I walked away to get something out of the bedroom and wasn't gone for very long. When I walked back into the room Lana was standing infront of the bookshelf with her little arm reaching up, just about the grab a book... now don't get me wrong, she has pulled books and dvd's off the shelves before, which also means she knows it is wrong. I just looked at her and she started shaking her head, and said "no, no, no." I couldn't help but laugh, it was so cute! She knew exactly what I was going to say, and said it for me. Then she went and sat in her chair. (I just recently started giving her timeouts) So funny. She also recently started doing this, I hold out my empty hand ( I dont' know why I did this the first time) but she will pretend to pick something up, and put it in her mouth, and then she shakes her head up and down and says "yum, yum" while smiling. ( I think this is what I do when I want her to eat her food, or at least I used to) Who knew at 15 months they could know how to pretend. She picks up on a lot more than I give her credit for!!!
