Not Thinking

I have to post this because it is one of those things that is SO stupid it is hilarious. This Wednesday our family headed to church for Youth Group like we do everyweek. For those of you who know me well, you know that when it comes to the baby (actually the almost 1 1/2 year old) I am always prepared. I always have everything with us, plenty of diapers, wipes, snacks, drinks, food, changes of clothes, toys, bibs, silverware,etc. Tonight at church they had a bunch of pools and water slides set up for the kids, so Lana played in the water and had a great time. This wasn't a planned thing, so I didn't have her swimming suit or a swimming diaper. Anyway, after the fun was over I realized I didn't have any diapers, can you believe that the one time in 17 months I had absolutely no diapers was of course a time when she would go swimming?!?!? I dug through the entire diaper bag making sure I hadn't missed one, and I also asked a few people who had young children. Keep in mind her only diaper is now soaking wet and we have a 45+ minute drive home. Someone mentioned that there might be some in the nursery, but the biggest one I could find was a size 1, Lana wears size 3. So I figured the a size 1 could last her until we get home, not a big deal. Well as we are driving home, I happen to look in the back seat, this is after I had buckled Lana in, and had even been turning around and talking to her through out the drive, I look in the back seat and see that there is an entire box of diapers that I had bought earlier that day......I felt so stupid..... Alright, well it was a lot funnier when it happened.... Josh said he realized it when we got in the car and wanted to see how long it took me to realize it. It took me quite a while... blonde moment of the year I guess :)

A New Toy

We finally got Lana her very own pool, and needless to say, she loves it!!

Lana's hair is finally getting long enough that we can do some things with it. She doesn't have much but I get get it into Pig tails and I think it is so cute!!
Couldn't get a smile out of her at the time, but she is still cute :)

More Fun in Colorado

Lana got to go to her first amusment park. There is the cutest little amusment park up near Colorado Springs called the North Pole. My parents took all of us there, Lana had so much fun going on the rides!! Here she is with her cousin Kaylee, she helped her out a lot. Jaiden and Kirsten are also right behind them.

We went hiking in the Mountains. With a 22 lb one year old on your back it can be a really good work out!!

The three babies, that really aren't babies anymore... Kirsten is almost 1, Lana almost 17 months, and Jaiden is 2 1/2!!! Grandma feeding Lana watermelon!!! She loved it!
