8 Weeks Old

Nathan is 8 weeks old today. Time has flown, it is hard to believe he will be 2 months next week. I love that smile!!

Fall Festival

Every year the seminary puts on a Fall Festival. We have gone for the last 3 years, and they always do such a great job. Everything they do is free for seminary students and their families, they have a dinner, free treats for the kids, candy, games, and rides. This year they even had fireworks. This year was even more fun since Lana is older she was able to enjoy it a lot more, and she had such a great time, it was really fun to watch her. She woke up this morning and was still talking about her fun night and the fireworks, only problem is she asked if we could go to Daddy's school and watch fireworks tonight. She is having a hard time understanding that this doesn't take place every night! :)

Lana and Daddy went on this spinning ride. Daddy didn't feel too well afterwards, but Lana had a blast. She giggled the entire time, it was so cute! She got so many toys and treats Lana and her friend Reagan playing while we were waiting for the fireworks to startLana and Daddy watching fireworks. This was Lana's first time seeing fireworks, she was a little scared at first, but ended up loving them.

Play Time

Even if you don't watch the whole video, at least watch the very beginning to see his cute cute smile! Also, remember this is mostly for the grandparents that don't get to see our kids very often!!

I used to think that it was kind of silly when Mom's would post videos of their newborns, I mean lets be honest they don't really do anything, but now I am going to be one of those mom's. It is amazing to me how everything is just as exciting with the second, not that it wouldn't be, but it is so fun already watching Nathan learn and grow. He smiles all the time now and it is the cutest smile I have ever seen. He is also spending more time awake these days, and here is a short video of him "playing." :)

What do you think?

Everyone keeps telling me that Nathan looks exactly like Lana. Well I came across this picture of Lana at 6 weeks old, and thought I would post it just to see the two of them next to eachother at the same age. Lana's eyes always stayed true blue, while Nathan's were darker from the beginning so I think he might be a brown eyed boy. Also they both had a very similar birth mark on their foreheads (storck bite). Anyway, just thought it would be interesting to see!!Lana 6 weeks old Nathan 6 weeks old
