Flooding

This is one of our very favorite parks.  We used to live just a couple blocks away, so we have spent a lot of time here, it is hard to believe it is completely covered in water.

 The look out we often walk out to.  To give it some perspective, where you see the railing is normally about 20 feet above the water

Easter Fun

Last week Grandma Davis came to visit! It was fun having her visit so close to Easter, so the kids got to do some Easter Activities with their Grandma!

Our little Nathan just does not like to hold still, and once I got him to hold still, Lana was looking down, oh well. . .

Easter Program

Sunday night Team Kids put on their Easter Program. I just love watching all of these kids, they did a great job!

Nathan is in Team Kids this year, even though he isn't quite 2, he only has 3 more months! :) The kids waiting for the program to start. Nathan just looks like such a big boy sitting up there. At first Nathan didn't understand he was supposed to stand when all the other kids did :)

So thankful for all of the Team Kid workers and helpers that work with our kids and So thankful for a Church with so many wonderful programs for our kids!!

Rainy Day Fun

Our back yard is now a pond Yesterday it rained the entire day and night. Lana had been asking all day if she could play in the rain. It was relatively warm and no thunder/lightning, so I decided to let her go for it! She had a ball!

Tag on from the last post. I realized I forgot one of my favorite ones. Lana thinks "Chuck E. Cheese's" is "Chuck E. Jesus." Love it!!

Out of the Mouth of Babes. . .

Things I want to remember forever! I LOVE the things that Lana pronounces wrong, I think it is so cute! We don't correct her, because it is so cute, but we do make sure we say them correct when we say them! Grilled trees= grilled cheese Chick-A-lea= Chick-fil-a pa-cholt-lea= chipotle swimming cool= swimming pool trashkin= trash can d-va-d= DVD walmert= wal-mart slows= Lowes She used to call Sandles-Candles, and it still makes me laugh whenever I think of it. She since then has learned the correct saying. Also, for a long time Nathan, was Nafan, but she can now say it correctly. Now Nathan is coming up with a language of his own. My favorites include guck=truck gall=ball dank do= thank you choo choo=train goggie= doggie (and everytime he see's one he says "goggie, woof woof" SO SWEET I am sure there are more that I am leaving out. . .
