VBS Commencement

I am getting way behind in my blogging, so here it goes, I also take way too many pictures I realized! Friday night, the 24th, was our VBS Commencement. Each class gets their turn to stand on stage and share what they learned that week and sing songs they have learned!

As I mentioned in my previous post this year I taught the 2-3 year old class for VBS. I have had so much fun teaching this group! We had 14 to 17 kids each night!

VBS- Water Night

We have been having a blast at VBS this week, I can't believe the week is almost over, it has flown by. This year I taught the 2-3 year old class again. Miss Jessica taught Lana's class, the 4-5 year old class. We had Water Night for both of our classes on Wednesday night. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, but decided to go for it anyway, and I don't think the kids minded at all.

Play Date

Friday we had great weather so we had some friends over to have some fun in the water. I wish I would have snapped a few more pictures, with 8 kids, ranging from ages 7 months to 9 years old we had a little craziness, but we had fun, and the kids had a blast!

Memory Verses

This summer I have decided we are going to have a memory verse every week, and a short lesson to go a long with it. We started last week and are actually on our 3rd verse. Our first lesson/verse was on obedience since...that is something our sweet 4 year old happen to be struggling with last week! Her first two verses are on obedience, and now we are focusing on the Gospel! In the above video she is reciting Eph. 6:1. She really is doing a great job. And of course this week she had a memory verse each night of Bible School as well, so she has had a lot on her plate :)

the whole group! Attendence was really low this week, I think everyone is traveling for the summer. They normally have a lot more kids on wednesday nights when they meet!
