Love it when my kids fall asleep in random places. Probably because they don't it very often. This particular day Nathan told me he was not tired. He aparently fell asleep while playing with the ferris wheel he took from his sisters room with out her knowing! :

Snow Day 2012

Yes, March 5th was our first snow of the year. We ended up getting about 5 inches. It was warm enough during the day, a lot of it melted, the pictures below were in the evening. Now, one day later most of the snow is gone. SO we had to have a whole year of fun in our one day. The kids played outside several times, they went sledding, made snow angels, threw snow balls, and built a snow man with Daddy. I would say that is a pretty good day!

Lana Grace- 5 Years Old

Lana Grace is 5 years old! It is still hard to believe the oldest of our 3 babies was born 5 years ago. Seems like it was a long time ago and like yesterday all at once. Lana is such a big girl. She is loving preschool and learning so much! She is a great, helpful big sister to Nathan and Ava (most of the time) and she loves to be Mom's helper! At 5 years old she is 43 3/4 inches tall, and weighs an even 40 lbs.

We got Lana a bike for her Birthday this year, and she was so excited. She loves it! Right now she is getting used to riding a bigger bike, and learning how to brake. She is doing great and loves to ride. Once she gets real comfortable with it, and going up and down hills (we live on a pretty big hill) then the training wheels will come off!

Ava Joy-6 Months Old

Ava Joy is 6 months old. Ava is 27 3/4 inches long (98 percentile) and weighs 18 lbs 8 oz (75 percentile)She just recently started sitting unsupported, thought she can't get into a sitting position by herself quite yet. She is a very strong girl though. She loves to push up on her arms and to lift her chest off the floor.

I noticed this week how big she is getting in her infant carseat. She won't be in this car seat much longer. When she stretches her legs out straight, her feet hang over the edge. (She can be in the car seat until 29 inches, so she has a little while) Ava got her first TWO teeth a couple weeks ago, and has two more on the way!

Such a big girl riding in the stroller. Ava loves to sit up in the stroller, and be able to see out!Ava also got to swing for the first time at the Zoo the other day! We are enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having lately, and love being able to get outside a lot! Hoping that sticks around!

Our sweet Ava at 6 months is still mostly drinking formula. She loves rice cereal and oatmeal, and just started on fruits and veggies this week. She already LOVES sweet potatoes! She acts like she is ready to eat anything, she stares at our food and tries to take it from our hands! She loves to roll around, and move around on the floor. Her favorite place to be is probably on the floor because she loves to be able to roll around!
