 One day Ava found the Dr's set, and put the stethoscope around her neck all on her own.  She walked around like this all day, silly girl! (Ava Joy 17 months old)

Snow Day

 We had our only real snow (about 4 inches) on December 29th.  Ava was only outside for about 10 minutes because she was actually sick that day, but she was standing at the door screaming when Lana and Nathan were out, so I bundled her up, and let her play out for a little while.  That afternoon Josh took Lana and Nathan out, and they ended up staying out for HOURS.  Lana and Nathan LOVE the snow, and could play out there all day, when we have snow!

First Year of School

 Since I never posted one at the beginning of the year, here is a picture of Lana in front of her school.  She is now past half way through Kindergarten. She absolutely LOVES school, and has done so well her first year in school.  Lana goes to school 5 days a week from 7:40am until 2:25pm.  She eats lunch at school, has specials (Art, Music, PE, computer, and Library) Recess, centers, classroom time etc.  She loves working on work sheets and working on the smart board.  She has learned a TON already, and I am so very proud of her.  I pray she always has a love for school!

Lana also played soccer for the first time last fall. I have a zillions pictures somewhere, but for now I am just posting this one!

Baby Dolls

 Lately Ava has been loving playing with baby dolls.  She loves to push them in the stroller, hold them, feed them, she is so sweet! (Ava Joy 17 months old)

Christmas 2012

 The is the first time in 7 1/2 years that we haven't traveled back to our home state for Chirstmas.  And while we missed our families, and being home, we had a nice quiet Christmas with just our little family!  This was also the first year that we bought gifts or did stockings for our kids since it was our first year at home we decided to make it a little more special. Here they are opening their stockings on Christmas morning.  Little things like underwear, socks, lip gloss, cars, etc.

The kids LOVE Team Umizoomi, and we found them both some Team Umizoomi toys, you can tell they were excited! :)

The kids enjoyed playing with their new toys, we enjoyed relaxing and not having anywhere to go.  We had a nice family meal together, and other treats in the afternoon and evening!  It was a great little Christmas!
